Travelers from our previous trips are always encouraged to share their experiences with us, so we know how to improve – and what parts they believe left them most affected, so we can know if we’re doing our destinations justice.
We had the most remarkable Spiritual tour with forgotten lands. Not only was everything perfectly Organised, but we felt, in Every instance, that Both nazim and nazia along with their crew truly cared about us and did their Utmost best to make this trip memorable. For a well-travelled family this Definitely has become the most eye-opening,adventurous and stunning journey of our lives- something We will Remember, draw Upon, and cherish for many years to come. The diversity of the places visited, from quranic to biblical Was truly Eye-openeing. The hospitality of hashimi hotel was second to none not forgetting the humorous sheikh saleh. We definitely will be back!
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته Alhamdulilah I have only just returned back from my trip to Palestine with Forgotten Lands and I’m already missing the warmth of the Palestinian hospitality. The people of palestine took us in as if we were one of there own. this was everyone from the staff at the hotel who Looked after us day and night, to the people of the old city who smiled at us as we walked passed, greeting us to their land. The hotel we stayed at was the closest to Masjid al Aqsa, about 2,500 steps there and back by my calculation. The walk to the masjid took you back in time, as you walk down the old cobbled road with the smell of fresh bread and falafel in the air. The trips we took around Palestine made the trip so much deeper than just staying in the old city, and I felt as though it gave me a more holistic view of the situation in palestine and the immense history that it contains. I have to thank our Shayk nazim for looking after us all, and making it a trip I’ll never forget. Palestine I will be Back In Sha Allah, and I hope for it to be with the forgotten lands family!
Alhamdulillah the tour was excellent. Palestine is a beautiful place to visit, rich in Islamic history, and of immense spiritual significance. 8 days allowed sufficient time not to feel rushed. Flight arrangements were good, as were travel plans during our time there. The ethos of the group was of families who were religiously minded, the talks good. The food arrangements were good, although supper around 10:30-11 pm can be a bit late – it may be we just have to accept this due to Salaat timings, in which case starting punctually (yes) at 2130 would help. A touch more elasticity around breakfast timings would be appreciated ie a wider window. I have offered feedback re water/towels already. But I conclude by saying the positives are outweighed the negatives so these comments are about fine tuning towards excellence. I would unhesitatingly recommend this tour to family and friends – indeed have already done so. Wassalaam
Al h’a’mdlillah a wonderful family orientated trip all round. Everything was well arranged from the get go. The week was filled with many tours and activities within the old city of Jerusalem as well as the surrounding cities including Hebron, Ramallah and Bethlehem. An informative visit to the Banksy Hotel and museum was a well worth trip. Full of eye opening information as well as history of the West Bank. Eid in the holy Lands is better than no other. An amazing experience to say the least.
Allhamdulillah our experience with the Forgotten Lands tour group was wonderful. The trip was very organized and well planned. There was a good balance between the Ziyaraats and free time, which gave an opportunity for the group to explore on their own.
